We provide re-sheeting for residential and commercial buildings—replacing worn wall panels and trim with new materials, sealant, and hardware.
Standing seam roofs for residential application are a high profile option, commonly either a snap together panel or field seam panel, both using a concealed fastener which is less likely to have leaks or lift issues.
Depending on the gauge, width, and profile, it can vary. Typically 35 - 50% more.
Longevity & Durability: A metal roof will typically last much longer than normal shingle roofs. A shingle roofs average life is 10-15 years. A rib panel metal roof will last from 25-30yrs, and a standing seam as long as 50yrs or more. They are more rigid than shingles, and will withstand most wind and hail, with exception to cosmetics.
Re-sheeting is a better solution for metal roofs and walls than trying to re-seal or repaint the exisitng metal. Metal sheets come with a 25yr polyester finish that is baked to the panels along with a clear coating, which gives a clean look and longer longevity.
